In her prints and paintings, as well as her objects and installations, she explores the forms of life – from organic growth to social networks.
"Using acrylic ink on white paper, a dialogue unfolds between the depth of the black pigment and the vastness of the void. My landscapes emerge through a dense, rhythmic brushstroke that brings to life the subtle textures of nature – the quivering of a leaf, the hardness of a rock. Visual elements that at first glance appear to be graphically arranged reveal a vibrant complexity upon closer inspection. In the absence of colour, light becomes the true protagonist, and the composition of the image takes over the narrative.
For me, the reduction to black and white is not a deficiency, but a tool for sharpening focus: it directs the gaze away from the obvious and towards the delicate texture of life. This gives rise to works which, despite – or perhaps precisely because of – their sparse means, create an immersive, moving atmosphere.
