Tobias Rummel
Tobias Rummel (born 1998, Berlin) is in his final semester of the KPT course at the renowned Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences, studying in Andrea Sunder-Plassmann’s class. A former physics and geology student with wide-ranging interests, his work explores themes such as alienation, loneliness and vastness. His life has been shaped by numerous moves, queerness and an ongoing search for a sense of belonging and visibility.
As well as creating visual art, Tobias Rummel writes prose and poetry. His major role models include David Hockney and Kafka.
