Dieses Werk ist aus meiner aktuell entstehenden Serie splashing around, bei der es mir darum geht, Farbwelten zu kreieren und vor allem Spaß zu haben. In einer oftmals sehr ernsten und durchstrukturierten Welt ist es mir wichtig Momente zu kreieren, in denen ich das bewusst ablege. Das ist das Thema der Serie.

In her painting, she explores the theme of mindfulness.
What do you see? How does what you see affect you?
In doing so, she focuses primarily on creating harmonious colour palettes designed to evoke a particular mood.
Through her art, Mara aims to remind people to be more mindful of the present moment.
