Adrian Ferdinand
Through carefully chosen perspectives, deliberate cropping and the use of light, Ferdinand stages people in characteristic poses as well as unnoticed details of public spaces. His works often take on a serial structure in which thematic, chromatic or installation-based connections unfold. Alongside photography, he experiments with various printing techniques, installation-based constructions and sculptural objects, though his photographic impulses always form the centre of his creative practice. In his works, the everyday is not only made visible, but also critically examined and transposed into new contexts.
