Unglazed ceramic: 2025
A little cat with a golden collar and her head tilted to one side. She comes from the undergrowth and has only popped in to see me, her little human, for a short while. I don’t know if she understands me or what thoughts are going through her mind.
Does she know that I love her? What a gift her presence is to me?
Does she only come to me because I give her treats when she doesn’t feel like hunting, or does she, too, hold me in high regard?
Or is she simply intrigued by my seemingly nonsensical behaviour – tapping on black objects and scratching on white sheets of paper?
I wish I could ask her...
