In letzter Zeit habe ich mehr als einmal den Vergleich der Pandemie 2020 mit der Beulenpest gehört. Wir wurden die Zeuge eines einzigartigen Ereignisses, das die Welt auf den Kopf stellte und Chaos mit einer neuen Ordnung der Dinge anrichtete. Die Menschen sind noch mehr als zuvor gezwungen, online zu gehen. Die Kombination dieser Desorganisation und Einfallsreichtum inspirierte mich zu "Bloody Hell".

Nadia Kazakovtseva

The St Petersburg-based artist Nadia Kazakovtseva began her artistic career as a child: the first exhibition she took part in was as part of the ‘Classical Days’ cultural programme at the State Hermitage Museum. Her desire to develop her skills in the visual arts led her to the Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, where she studied in the sculpture department. There, she combines academic projects with creative exploration. This is why she decided to spend a semester at the Weißensee Academy of Art in Berlin. Today, Nadia focuses mainly on painting, inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of everyday subjects.
