Info :
The painting “Inner Voice” is a portrait in which only the eyes and lips are clearly defined. The rest of the face is left undefined. Black signifies either a mask concealing the rest of the face or an image that has not yet been loaded.
Like an inner voice that dictates hidden dreams, the colour black draws the viewer’s attention whilst simultaneously emphasising the main features of the face.

Nadia Kazakovtseva
The St Petersburg-based artist Nadia Kazakovtseva began her artistic career as a child: the first exhibition she took part in was as part of the ‘Classical Days’ cultural programme at the State Hermitage Museum. Her desire to develop her skills in the visual arts led her to the Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, where she studied in the sculpture department. There, she combines academic projects with creative exploration. This is why she decided to spend a semester at the Weißensee Academy of Art in Berlin. Today, Nadia focuses mainly on painting, inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of everyday subjects.
