‘Maschina Athina’ documents the streets of Athens over a period of four months. The film centres on the cars parked there, focusing on the city’s various neighbourhoods
and the city’s diverse society. In the book, the dilapidated cars are set against contrasting streetscapes, thereby highlighting the inequality in Greece, which seems only slowly to be recovering from the crisis. The process resulted in a book, as well as a collection of prints and accompanying posters produced using screen-printing techniques.
‘Feierabend’ visualises Greece’s social injustices in the form of a photographic silkscreen print.
