Es sollte eine Gemeinschaftsarbeit werden, daher der Titel des Werkes. Doch nicht immer lassen sich gemeinsame Gedanken zeitlich synchronisieren.
Und so flossen die eigenen Gedanken über Bilder, Rollen, Identitäten von Frauen in dieses Bild. Von einer vagen Skizze an begann der Bildaufbau eher intuitiv, kontrastreich und in der Symbolik der Elemente und Farben den Sinn findend. Körper scheinen sich ineinander zu verweben und in Beziehung zu setzen, und doch scheinen die Körper sich immer wieder in Flächen zu verwandeln und ihre Dreidimensionalität aufzugeben.
Das Werk versucht eine Geschichte zu erzählen, nutzt dazu die verschiedenen Frauenkörper und ihre Positionen und Verhältnismäßigkeiten zueinander. Dahinter liegen weitere Ebenen?
Judith Blodig
Her works have been represented by SKM since early 2022.
She works with oil paint on canvas and also explores other artistic fields through small objects and her voice.
Through oil painting, she captures the emotional reality of a moment on canvas.
She uses the play of light, surface qualities and spatial relationships to convey the intimacy of the moment and the connection between the subjects.
Inspired by her personal connections, her works create spaces for reflection on emotionality, distance and touch.
