Das Gemälde "Grenzgänger" ist Teil einer Serie, in der ich Freunde und Kollegen in verschiedenen Darstellungen festhalte. Es zeigt einen Künstlerkollegen, der eine Skulptur von zwei Skeletten inspiziert. Die Neonanzeige des Kaufhauses zeigt "BRDR" für "Border" und symbolisiert den schmalen Grat, auf dem sich Künstler oft im Kampf um Existenz und in der Erkundung mentaler und sinnlicher Grenzen bewegen. Dieser schmale Grat kann zu Ungewissheit und Dunkelheit führen, eröffnet jedoch auch neue Wege und Entdeckungen. Das Gemälde reflektiert die Ambivalenz dieser Reise und die Spannung zwischen den Herausforderungen und den Möglichkeiten, die sich in der kreativen Exploration ergeben.

Painting
Her painting springs from spontaneous emotion, offering scope for experimentation and the pure joy of creative expression. Whilst academic art education often tends to suppress or conceptualise this authenticity, she carefully preserves it in her painting.
Her creative space allows her to transcend boundaries and make room for the unexpected, resulting in series in which she captures friends and colleagues in various depictions. During the Covid-19 crisis, she also portrayed her neighbourhood, ranging from unaffordable flats to the socially deprived area of Kottbusser Tor.
Her art extends beyond realistic scenes to include depictions of dreams on a surreal level, forming a creative bridge to her sculptural works.

sculptures are an expression of her artistic vision, which focuses on viewing the human being as an architectural structure. Inspired by her childhood fascination with her ancestors’ doll’s house, every room in this metaphorical house symbolises a unique facet of human character. She sees this complex doll’s house within every individual, representing the multi-layered nature of emotions and experiences. Her art explores the significance of self-awareness and delves into the unconscious microcosm that encompasses dreams and the vast world of the subconscious. Through her sculptures, Augart seeks to play with these elements from dreams and to build a bridge between dream and reality.
