About the work
From the ‘Vessels’ series
For many years now, I have repeatedly returned to still lifes featuring vases and vessels in my artistic practice. For me, a vase is a space for receiving and containing.
In a broader sense, the vessel is an archaic symbol of abundance, preservation and permanence, one that has accompanied humankind since the dawn of civilisation.
Important note
The artwork is not stretched onto a stretcher frame and is supplied with a passe-partout.
Recommendation: This artwork is ideal for framing. The picture frame is not included in the price.
