About the work
From the ‘Vessels’ series
For many years now, I have repeatedly returned to still lifes featuring vases and vessels in my artistic practice. For me, a vase is a space for receiving and containing.
In a broader sense, the vessel is an archaic symbol of abundance, preservation and permanence, which has accompanied humankind since the dawn of civilisation.
Delivery:
The work will be shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s signature on the reverse.
