Die Figur ist Träger meiner Bildaussage. In Beziehung zum Bildraum erzählt die Figur oder Bildteile ihres Körpers die Geschichte.
Die Aktuellen Arbeiten konzentrieren sich auf die Oberfläche der Haut als echte, lebendige und empfindsame Oberfläche, die ihre Emotionalität nach außen trägt. Sie ist so reich an Farben – auch die ihrer Umgebung – sodass sie Teil seiner umfassenden Wirklichkeit und eigenen Lebendigkeit ist.
Ich nehme die Welt um mich herum auf und bringe die mich berührenden Fragestellungen auf die Leinwand. Ich teile meine Empfindungen und stelle sie zur Diskussion. Für den Betrachter wünsche ich mir den Freiraum der eigenen Interpretation.

Judith Blodig
Her works have been represented by SKM since early 2022.
She works with oil paint on canvas and also explores other artistic fields through small objects and her voice.
Through oil painting, she captures the emotional reality of a moment on canvas.
She uses the play of light, surface qualities and spatial relationships to convey the intimacy of the moment and the connection between the subjects.
Inspired by her personal connections, her works create spaces for reflection on emotionality, distance and touch.
