*Haut 8* is another work that explores the contact between two bodies in a relaxed state within a private setting. The contact is imbued with a natural closeness, and the union of the two bodies reflects an intimate moment of genuine, unspoken emotion.
Two people are sleeping in the morning light. The union of their two bodies is a delicate act of closeness, which the artist wishes to preserve. In painterly terms, the focus is on the contact between the areas of skin, which are intended to appear as authentic – that is, as real – as possible. The colours are reduced to a narrow spectrum and are intended to convey the stillness and tranquillity of the situation.

Her works have been represented by SKM since early 2022.
She works with oil paint on canvas and also explores other artistic fields through small objects and her voice.
Through oil painting, she captures the emotional reality of a moment on canvas.
She uses the play of light, surface qualities and spatial relationships to convey the intimacy of the moment and the connection between the subjects.
Inspired by her personal connections, her works create spaces for reflection on emotionality, distance and touch.
