'Touch of the Sky' is a sublime representation of abstract art that captures the fleeting interplay of light and atmosphere. In this work, the artist contrasts the warmth of earthy undertones with the coolness of a rich sky blue, reminding the viewer of the tranquil transition from day to night. The central composition of the blue splash of colour, which dissolves outwards, conveys the idea of a gentle movement, akin to a light breeze skimming across a still water’s surface.
The texture of the painting is a visual poem, given an extra dimension by the use of fine, grainy materials. These deliberately incorporated elements invite the viewer to examine the surface more closely and appreciate the artist’s technique.
