Dieses Werk ist im Kontext einer Verliebtheit in (m)einen Naturwissenschaftler entstanden. Seine Begeisterung für die unendlichen Weiten des Alls steckte mich an, und gleichzeitig eröffnete mir die Beziehung zu ihm ungeahnte Sphären und Möglichkeiten. All das steckt in diesem Bild.

Es lädt zum Träumen ein, und wenn es ausreichend Licht aufnehmen konnte, dann leuchten die großen Sterne im Dunkeln leicht.

Ich denke dabei an:

My art mostly explores themes centred on people and humanity. There is always a moment of disorientation, bewilderment, magic, contrast or rupture. Whether it be the encounter between humans and animals, the dreams of the soul, emotions in all their facets

or the aesthetics of colour itself.

My materials and

subjects are as diverse as life itself. From Surrealism and Romanticism to abstract paintings and figurative ceramics, I am constantly struck by new ideas that gradually take shape in reality.
