- This painting is part of my current project, in which I explore the urban aesthetics of Malaysia, particularly those of my new home city, Malacca. These works are characterised by a distinct colour palette and the often highly contrasting architectural forms found in the cities here. My studio is located in the city centre on the 40th floor and offers new impressions of urban life every day, which I capture in my paintings.
