Info: Der kupferfarbene Horizont erstreckt sich über die bewölkte Weite. Vor uns liegt eine dünne Schicht Wasser, durch die wir waten können. Oder ist es eine Schneelandschaft? Was anmutet wie ein Wasser aus fremden Urzeiten, könnte genauso gut ein leuchtender Sonnenaufgang vor unserer Haustür sein.
Leyla Jalili
Leyla Jalili is studying art at the University of Osnabrück. Her main area of work is oil and acrylic painting on large-format canvases. Stylistically, her delicate brushwork and focus on the interplay of light and shadow are particularly noteworthy. In her studio, the artist creates both naturalistic depictions and abstract works on canvas. She captures motifs for her paintings, as well as for her prints and drawings, through photographs and quick sketches that she takes whilst travelling or in her everyday life.
