This striking work of art presents an arrangement of geometric and organic forms engaged in a playful dialogue. Centrally positioned is a figure created by the superimposition of areas of colour in shades of green and red, its form reminiscent of a bust. Above it looms a circle in rich red, crowned by a yellow triangle; together, they appear as an abstract interpretation of a face. The whole composition rests on a plinth in vibrant yellow and blue, which lends the figure a kind of monumental stature. The background, rendered in soft shades of orange and beige, lends the work warmth and depth, whilst sporadic, fine lines and splashes add an extra dimension and dynamism to the image. This work exudes a certain youthful energy and spirit of innovation by blending classical sculpture with contemporary colour and form. It invites the viewer to explore the boundaries of perception and to enjoy the freedom of interpretation.
