Dieses Werk trägt den Titel "Nostalgia" und zeigt eine Frau, deren Gesicht von Tränen umrahmt ist.
Sie blickt in die Ferne auf ein Ziel, welches den Betrachter:innen unbekannt ist und im Sinne der Nostalgie in der sehnsuchtsvollen Erinnerung der Vergangenheit liegen kann.
Die Augen der dargestellten Frau wurden bewusst leer gelassen und bieten den Betrachter:innen somit eine Projektionsfläche eigener Assoziationen.
Gleichzeitig wird die Figur hierdurch abstrahiert und verliert einen Teil der Menschlichkeit.
Das Weglassen von Pupillen ist zudem ein Stilmittel, welches des Öfteren in Werken von Pauline Prasser zu sehen ist.
Die Malerei wurde auf einen hochwertigen Keilrahmen mit einer Tiefe von 4,5 cm bespannt.

Pauline Prasser loves the diverse means of expression and challenges offered by the creative process.
Through a wide variety of genres, materials and motifs, she creates immediate responses to current events or inner emotional worlds that seek visual expression.
Her focus is often on people, particularly through figurative abstraction in painting or drawing. Another passion of hers is exploring various materials such as ceramics and glass. In this context, she often uses texts, which she translates into artistic form.
