Info: The light blue shadow was created using numerous glazes to imitate the even fall of a shadow on a house wall. In this way, the minimalist painting is intended to evoke a sense of calm and security. The various photographs show the painting in different lighting conditions (in natural light, in yellow light and in bluish light in one of the close-up shots).
Leyla Jalili
Leyla Jalili is studying art at the University of Osnabrück. Her main area of work is oil and acrylic painting on large-format canvases. Stylistically, her delicate brushwork and focus on the interplay of light and shadow are particularly noteworthy. In her studio, the artist creates both naturalistic depictions and abstract works on canvas. She captures motifs for her paintings, as well as for her prints and drawings, through photographs and quick sketches that she takes whilst travelling or in her everyday life.
