This painting depicts a colourful, expressive composition in which various human figures, abstract forms and mysterious symbols merge into one another. The people appear to be holding hands, whilst other figures in the background are depicted in motion.
Using my characteristic colour palette of blue, pink, yellow and green, I sought, as always, to create a lively yet almost dreamlike atmosphere.
Between the figures, quasi-organic structures, human faces and outlines of shapes emerge, evoking nature, technology and also pure fantasy. The title refers to the central theme of this work, namely the sense of resonance and connection – between people, spaces and energies.
Shipping:
The work will be shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s signature on the reverse.
Michal Banasik
Born in 1974 in Szczecin, he also lives and works in Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. He studied painting at the Academy of Art and Music in Szczecin (Akademia Sztuki w Szczecinie). He specialises primarily in painting and drawing.
In his artistic practice, he readily utilises all available tools, resources and media. This also applies to artificial intelligence tools, which he combines with some of his painterly ideas. However, this openness does not alter his tendency to situate his work primarily at the intersection of painting and drawing.
The spectrum of his thematic inspirations encompasses a wide range of phenomena from different eras: from numerous formal references to art history, myths and studies of magic and religion, right through to everyday themes, which are combined into freely conceived narratives featuring figures, symbols, signs and subjective experiences of a new reality.
