3D-printed frame, plotter drawing on photograph, plexiglass, high-polished metal, LED lightingÂ
55 x 30 x 40
The work examines wellness as a capitalist aesthetic that shifts care from collective systems onto the individual body, presenting self-optimization as responsibility while masking structural neglect.
A silver, AI-generated Art Nouveau double frame encloses mirrored influencer selfies in bathrobes and infrared masks, overlaid by a red plotter drawing referencing fascist architectural symmetry, and suspended before polished metal with red backlighting.
Through tame technology, symmetry, and cleanliness, the piece exposes how wellness codes normalize whiteness, standardization, and a unified, disciplined body under the guise of care.

ARTISTIC PRACTICE
Bianca works with mixed-media approaches at the intersection of photography, time-based media and installation. Her works explore how digital technologies shape perception, social structures and the attribution of value. In doing so, she combines analogue and digital processes and is particularly interested in transitions, reproductions and materialised traces of digitality. Her practice ranges between documentary, installation-based and media-reflective forms.
