-One-of-a-kind-
For this work, I had a vision of large stone figures and vibrant colours. Using oil pastels and their lightness, I was able to intuitively bring this vision to life on the canvas. I experimented playfully with colour, texture and composition. In fact, however, many people recognise a street scene, as is typically woven into carpets for children’s bedrooms.
The painting is signed and comes stretched on a frame, along with a certificate of authenticity.
Palina Miriam Meffert
Her deep empathy and emotional intensity serve as a powerful source of inspiration for her works. Her paintings are as varied as her impressions of our turbulent world. Thanks to her keen enthusiasm for experimentation, each of her paintings is unique. Through art, Palina finds expression, fulfilment and the opportunity to communicate with those around her.
BIOGRAPHY:
Led a watercolour workshop at a secondary school.
Various private exhibitions of her paintings.
Currently working on a book illustration for a foster family in collaboration with the Rhineland Education Office.
