Capitalism`s still breastfeeding us
Oh humanity
Is this all you need?
A flat TV, shiny screen
and a brew coffee?
A morning fuck
casino luck
Bitcoin dirty deeds
Go-girl gamble with atom bombs
Your children`s lungs
And your soul to feed
To feed your empty hollow heads
To mimic thought control
While you hang from silver strings
Text sum Tinder flings
Read your face book goal
I`m shuffling through the pages
Of your insta gram
Show me your flesh
Show me what you got
I love your plastic glam
„I have sum boobs“
„I have a hole“
„I have a flat TV“
Wanna come over for Netflix chill
and a brew coffee?
Let`s fill my holes
Empty your souls
Cum inside of me
I screw you and you screw me
Just need one last fix
To get up in the morning yo
Perform sum magic tricks
To look like mommy wants me to
To dissolve with and suit the crew
Crew of robotees
Step in the car
My own bell jar
Arrive at factory
Spend my hours
Loose my powers
And end
at my
TV.

Lucia Jacobs
After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Art, Education and Therapy in the Media Studies programme at Alanus University of Applied Sciences in Bonn, the 25-year-old is currently studying film directing at the International Film School Cologne. As a finalist for the 2024 BFF Support Award, she produced the photo series ‘Nach uns die Sintflut 2.0’ and is currently working on the post-production of her debut short film, Kill a Darling.
Her aim is to create beauty amidst turbulent times – using a visual language that both questions and enchants. Guided by the motto ‘Who are you when nobody is watching?’, she turns her lens towards hidden realities beyond the staged world of social media. With a great passion for detail and symbolism, as well as a keen sense of light and colour, she succeeds in creating visual worlds that lie between reality and dreams. Alongside her artistic work, she is involved in organising and curating the NEXT Youth Photography Festival, writes poetry, and is delighted to meet people who share her passion for photography and wish to incorporate her works into their private or public spaces.
