Challenges that sap our strength and seem insurmountable help us move forward. More than we realise. The journey seems arduous and, at times, as though we’re not making any headway. Confronting these challenges fosters growth in mental and physical strength, pushes us to our limits and expands them.
In the end, it is for our own good. Strength reveals itself at the limits of our resilience, when it comes to persevering and enduring, when we have to give ourselves hope and courage to carry on.
Theresa Müller
I draw my inspiration from both Greek mythology and personal experiences. Women from my immediate circle influence my motifs just as much as archetypal figures and narratives.
My art is aimed at people who feel alienated or misunderstood in today’s world.
It aims to encourage them to take up space and not conform, and to remind them that they are just as valid as they are.
