Speed is the impulsive form of energy.
The cheetah and the sprinter are equals, on their way together as ‘mates’. They challenge and support one another; together and against one another
,
they maintain a balance.
No matter how superior humans may be to animals in the mind, physically we are inferior to many of them; here, it is important to be humble.
In this image, the cheetah is a supporter and teacher, but can become a threat and put the sprinter in her place if she overestimates her abilities and becomes arrogant.

I draw my inspiration from both Greek mythology and personal experiences. Women from my immediate circle influence my motifs just as much as archetypal figures and narratives.
My art is aimed at people who feel alienated or misunderstood in today’s world.
It aims to encourage them to take up space and not conform, and to remind them that they are just as valid as they are.
