“I draw my inspiration from two main sources: physics and childhood memories. The abstract perspectives offered by physics have always shaped my view of the world and opened up a way for me to explore it without preconceptions. I view landscapes as lines and colours, with each line intersecting another, thereby creating energy, depth, and new worlds and elements. My work is guided by the idea that energy flows everywhere, on both a small and a large scale. I try to capture how this energy moves and interacts, how lines, colours and shapes come together to create something that appears alive.”
"Another aspect that inspires me to paint is the invisible and often overlooked lines in our surroundings—be it the white lines on the road, the yellow lines in a car park or the power lines between buildings. For me, these lines possess an aesthetic quality and reveal a great deal about human ingenuity and attention to detail."
