"Die symmetrisch angeordneten Äste und Zweige ergeben durch ihre Bearbeitung komplexe Linienmuster, die niemals auf natürliche Weise zustande kommen würden. Das Werk spielt mit dieser Polarität von Natürlichkeit und Künstlichkeit.
Für mich repräsentiert es das fragile Gebilde unseres Ökosystems und weist zugleich auf den menschengemachten Eingriff in diesem hin. Welche Rolle übernimmt der Mensch in der Natur? Ist es ein Versuch der Kontrolle oder doch der Wunsch nach Verbindung und Einklang?"

She completed her
Bachelor of Arts there in 2024 in Johannes Brunner’s class and is now studying for her Master’s degree in art therapy.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT:
Transience
is the central theme of my artistic work, in which I explore ways of making tangible these natural yet uncertain processes of life that lie beyond human control. My fascination with nature and its processes, as well as the question of humanity’s role within them, are my driving forces.
In my works, this is expressed through polarities such as order and chaos, or clarity and blurriness. The line, as an essential design feature, characterises many of my works, and I regard it as a symbol of one’s own lifetime.
