Phillip Urban

My name is Phillip Urban and I am studying at the Kassel Art Academy under the tutelage of Johannes Spehr.

Having completed my teacher training in art

I am now pursuing a degree in fine art.

In my work, I explore visual perception, the duration of perception and the sequence of perception. The focus is on the viewer’s role in completing the artwork. The abstract forms and barely visible contours are intended to invite reflection, association and movement in front of the work.
