Oil pastels, fineliners and acrylic on cardboard
Year created: 2023
Signed on the reverse
This work was created as a further development of some of my own works from recent years. These works and the technique used in them evolved from an exploration of the content of George Perec’s book *Espèces d’espaces*. Perec’s precise working method corresponds to the principle of an algorithm and is taken up here as a basis, further developed and deconstructed.
As can be seen in the photographs, the oil pastels have been applied more thickly due to the intense colour application.
The work is rolled up and packed for dispatch.
