An everyday place becomes a visual motif: a public toilet, captured in a moment somewhere between order and use.
In the foreground is a voucher – a symbol of the system, of consideration and of apparent balance.
Amidst traces, signs and fleeting details, a tension arises between material value and lived reality.
The hand in the image draws the viewer in and makes the scene an immediate experience.
‘1€’ invites us to reconsider the concept of value – moving beyond numbers and towards our own perception.
Shipping:
The work is shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s signature on the reverse.

In my artistic work, I explore the question of what really matters in life. Amidst consumerism, external influences and societal images, what stands out for me are human emotions – love, intimacy and vulnerability.
My works are created intuitively. Colour, movement and deliberate breaks reflect inner tensions and reveal what often remains hidden. In this process, raw, expressive elements meet personal themes and create spaces in which viewers can recognise themselves.
For me, art is a place where emotion and expression take precedence over perfection.
