A cat appears to break through the boundaries of the pictorial space and emerge from the two-dimensional plane. The work combines classical animal painting with a conceptual element: what happens when a subject refuses to remain within the prescribed frame?
The cat is not depicted as an object of contemplation, but as an independent personality that claims the pictorial space for itself. The seemingly disrupted white of the canvas draws the viewer’s attention to questions of freedom, boundaries and our perception of reality.

In my artistic work, I explore the question of what really matters in life. Amidst consumerism, external influences and societal images, what stands out for me are human emotions – love, intimacy and vulnerability.
My works are created intuitively. Colour, movement and deliberate breaks reflect inner tensions and reveal what often remains hidden. In this process, raw, expressive elements meet personal themes and create spaces in which viewers can recognise themselves.
For me, art is a place where emotion and expression take precedence over perfection.
