About the work: What was it like, as a child, to run across a rolling flower meadow? This work was created, inspired by aesthetic experiences from childhood. Pink and light blue textures grow across a light green surface, extending beyond the edge of the canvas. Like rampant plants, the grainy structures spread across the picture and reach out towards the viewer. The pink areas are inspired by flower meadows and the blue areas by water. Like a hilly landscape, the canvas is also three-dimensionally shaped, creating a space between painting and sculpture. When hung on the wall, the canvas projects into the room. The playful and the childlike are also themes explored here.
The work ‘Flower Meadow’ is part of a series exploring oases of tranquillity in nature. Where can we leave the stresses of everyday city life behind? How are our sensory impressions shaped by nature? I explore these questions in the series, and likewise in this work, which is intended as an ode to the beauty and tranquillity of nature.
Delivery: The artwork will be shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s signature on the reverse.

“My art inspires people to rediscover conscious living. I create a world in which it is permissible to playfully discover new things for oneself and to experience what feels alive. To see the fireworks of vibrant colours and to feel the exciting textures and shapes on the canvas. The tactile aspect of my art encourages people to interact with the images in a new way.
Through my art, I aim to inspire people to dream and awaken their zest for life.”
