About the work: The work “Treasure” consists of two elements: a golden, cushion-like canvas and a relief-like surface made of paint and various materials, which are interconnected. The shimmering structure is reminiscent of a treasure trove of gold and precious stones.
Situated at the intersection of painting and sculpture, the work develops a strong spatial presence and projects three-dimensionally into the room. The tactile aspect plays a central role: the unusual surface texture provokes the urge to touch the work. In this way, “Treasure” challenges the conventions of art appreciation and invites the viewer to experience the painting not only with their eyes, but also through touch.
Shipping: The work is shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s signature on the reverse.
