[Titel aus >Hamlet, Prince of Denmark< von William Shakespeare]
Maria geht in ihren Bildern dem Gedanken- und Empfindungsexperiment nach, wie scheinbar Unzusammenhängendes, unterschiedlichen Kontexten Entlehntes ein ähnliches Leitmotiv zugrunde liegen haben können. Vorgefundenes Bild- und Textmaterial wird gesammelt, gelagert, überlagert und zu fragmentarischen Bildwelten zusammengesetzt. Farbschichten und Textschichten konstruieren und dekonstruieren sich im Wechselspiel, Bildwelten werden konkreter oder entmaterialisieren sich wieder.
In diesem Werk geht es um die entmaterialisierende Wirkung des Satzes "Do you see yonder cloud that's almost in the shape of a camel" den der scheinbar geistig umnachtete Hamlet den Polonius stellt.
Bilder werden auf der Rückseite signiert und mit Echtheitszertifikat versandt.
