Description:
Everyday scenes form the starting point for my drawings, which are increasingly shifting into the surreal. In this work, an ordinary fridge becomes a symbol of the extreme summer heat of 2026: it is literally melting away and seems no longer able to withstand the heat itself. The familiar is thrown off balance and becomes a surreal snapshot in which the boundaries between everyday life, reality and absurdity dissolve.
