Description:
A simple everyday scene: a sip of water on a hot summer’s day. The figure is drawn in a hyper-realistic style using pencil, whilst the background is rendered in vibrant shades of red, orange and violet, evoking the heat and the shimmer of summer. The contrast between the calm, almost sculptural figure and the abstract, flowing background lends this otherwise everyday motif a surreal quality.
