A single moment can be enough to make everything else seem insignificant for a moment.
A moment in which nothing happens suddenly captures one’s full attention. The light falls on the snow and transforms everything: the ground shimmers in shades of violet, pink and yellow; even the shadows glow. One’s gaze wanders across the expanse, from one patch of light to the next, without lingering anywhere.
You keep looking, even though you’re not searching for anything, and linger longer than you intended. Your gaze is constantly shifting, taking in ever-changing sights, leaving no room for other thoughts. Everything that was important before fades into the background as this impression takes hold.
You simply stand there and look. That is precisely what makes the moment so powerful. It arises spontaneously and yet engulfs everything.
You know that the light will disappear again in a moment and the landscape will look normal once more. Perhaps you’ll come back, but it won’t be the same moment. That’s precisely why you look at it for longer.
It is a brief, chance moment that is so vivid that everything else loses its significance for a moment. Such moments happen of their own accord. Their impact only becomes apparent when you allow yourself to be drawn into them.
Material / Technique:
Acrylic on canvas in a shadow-joint frame. The landscape is painted with high-quality acrylic paints. The original painting is sealed with a UV-protective varnish by Lascaux and signed on the front and back.
Frame:
The shadow-joint frame is included with purchase. This frame does not contain a glass pane. The painting is screwed into the frame at the back. The distinctive feature of a shadow-joint frame is the visible joint between the stretcher frame and the outer frame: This draws the viewer’s attention to the subject. The shadow-joint frame is made of MDF and covered with high-quality decorative film in a warm silver tone. There is a plug-in hanger on the back.

Regensburg. It was there that I discovered my love of landscape painting. In particular, during the painting excursions I regularly took part in, I developed a deep connection with nature and a passion for the diversity of colours that we often fail to notice in everyday life. I often lose myself in the many facets of nature and observe it with a discerning eye.
In my works, which are predominantly created using acrylic paint, I aim to highlight and exaggerate the variety of colours that can be discovered in nature upon close observation. In doing so, I alter the colours and consciously transform them to create unique atmospheres of colour and light. Despite these alterations, it is of great importance to me to keep
the forms true to what can be observed and to nature
. Through the manipulation of colours, I often succeed in creating mystical, dark, stormy and dynamic colour schemes. My choice of tranquil subjects, such as solitary trees or distant cloudscapes, harmonises perfectly with a dynamic choice and application of colour. As a result, my landscapes are both serene and dynamic and wild. They are characterised by contrasts between light and dark, between gloom and vibrant colours.
Through my unique colour and light atmospheres, my distortions of reality and my constant artistic development, I set myself apart from other landscape painters. My works offer the viewer a special artistic experience, immersing them in a world full of unique moods and sensations.
