An artificial world can seem more appealing than reality, not in spite of, but because of its artificiality.
The view is focused on something that is visibly unnatural and yet fascinates. A luminous, tranquil landscape opens up like a vista, framed by circular structures. Light and colour appear deliberate, almost staged. The space appears beautiful, clear and promising, with no discernible real light source. The order does not seem to have grown organically, but rather to have been created.
This attraction is real. The experience is real. The radiance draws us in, invites us to linger and is sufficient in the moment. The world is shaped, intensified, heightened. Light, colour and atmosphere are not random, but designed to create attraction. The world seems full of promise, sometimes even more intense than reality. And that is precisely why it draws us in. At the same time, it remains clear that this state is not permanent. The forms dissolve at the edges, colours lie side by side in fragments; everything seems fluid and subject to change at any moment. The world appears calm, but not stable.
Thus, the image can be read as a symbol of an experience in which we consciously engage with something we know to be temporary. Not out of delusion, but because the moment itself is enough. Furthermore, it reflects our lives caught between real and artificially created experiences. There, too, we allow ourselves to be drawn into moments that are deliberately crafted and may quickly vanish again. The fact that they do not last does not diminish their impact.
We consciously engage with something that does not last, or which may never be truly real. Not because we believe it will endure, but because it provides intensity when we need it, and because it is enough that it feels real for a brief moment.
Medium / Technique:
The landscape is painted using high-quality acrylic paints. The original painting is sealed with a varnish and signed on the front and back. There are three sawtooth hangers on the back of the canvas. The back is fitted with cross-bracing, which gives the stretcher frame additional stability.

The artwork is shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and signatures on the front and back.

Regensburg. It was there that I discovered my love of landscape painting. In particular, during the painting excursions I regularly took part in, I developed a deep connection with nature and a passion for the diversity of colours that we often fail to notice in everyday life. I often lose myself in the many facets of nature and observe it with a discerning eye.
In my works, which are predominantly created using acrylic paint, I aim to highlight and exaggerate the variety of colours that can be discovered in nature upon close observation. In doing so, I alter the colours and consciously transform them to create unique atmospheres of colour and light. Despite these alterations, it is of great importance to me to keep
the forms true to what can be observed and to nature
. Through the manipulation of colours, I often succeed in creating mystical, dark, stormy and dynamic colour schemes. My choice of tranquil subjects, such as solitary trees or distant cloudscapes, harmonises perfectly with a dynamic choice and application of colour. As a result, my landscapes are both serene and dynamic and wild. They are characterised by contrasts between light and dark, between gloom and vibrant colours.
Through my unique colour and light atmospheres, my distortions of reality and my constant artistic development, I set myself apart from other landscape painters. My works offer the viewer a special artistic experience, immersing them in a world full of unique moods and sensations.
