In this work, I have sought to capture the fleeting nature of memories and the fragility of perception. The canvas serves as a kind of diary of my inner landscape, in which colours and shapes come together to form a dynamic yet fragile image.
I was guided by the idea that reality is often blurred and fleeting, like a dream that fades the moment one wakes. The colours I have used are deliberately muted and pastel-like to emphasise this atmosphere of transience. The gestural brushstrokes that move across the canvas are like fragments of thoughts and emotions in a state of constant flux.
The composition is open and inviting, with a bright, almost empty sky that draws the viewer’s gaze into the depths of the painting. The shapes and colours in the lower part of the canvas are denser and more complex, like a whirlwind of memories and feelings condensing in a moment of intensity.
I see this work as a kind of visual meditation, an invitation to the viewer to immerse themselves in the stillness and ambiguity of the moment. It is an attempt to explore the beauty and complexity of the inner world, which is often so elusive and yet so profound.

. My work arises from a direct, physical engagement with the material. The gesture is central – impulsive, powerful, often spontaneous. Traces such as scratches, colour gradients, overlays and raw edges are deliberately left visible and form an integral part of the picture. The painting process is open-ended, process-oriented and follows no fixed plan. Decisions are made in the moment of movement. In the process, spaces emerge on the canvas or paper that have little to do with classical three-dimensionality. They are mental spaces between eruption and contemplation, between concentration and spontaneity. For me, imperfection is an essential part of the process – it embodies the truth of the process.
My painting
has now moved beyond the two-dimensional plane. I am increasingly working with objects and forms in space. In doing so, I apply painterly principles to other materials – colour becomes physical, movement becomes volume. This gives rise to sculptural works in which gesture, materiality and space come together in new ways.
