‘Überdosiert’ plays with expectations. What emerges from an oversized tube is not the white paste one might expect, but a multitude of individual teeth. The supposedly familiar takes a turn for the unsettling and raises questions about consumption, physicality and the relationship between packaging and contents.
The tube was formed from aluminium sheet and riveted on one side. The opening is modelled in acrylic. The more than sixty plaster teeth were created from a soapstone model developed by the artist, which was cast multiple times. The repetition of the same original tooth creates a tension between individuality and mass production – a dynamic also inherent in industrial products.
The sculpture invites us to question our first impressions: not everything that appears familiar contains what we expect.

In my artistic work, I explore the question of what really matters in life. Amidst consumerism, external influences and societal images, what stands out for me are human emotions – love, intimacy and vulnerability.
My works are created intuitively. Colour, movement and deliberate breaks reflect inner tensions and reveal what often remains hidden. In this process, raw, expressive elements meet personal themes and create spaces in which viewers can recognise themselves.
For me, art is a place where emotion and expression take precedence over perfection.
