Piping bag technique
This work consists of four interconnected individual pieces which only reveal their full effect when viewed together, as they complement one another in both content and form. Each work measures 30x30cm. A defining feature is the colouristic concept, which combines both painterly and draughtsman-like elements. The lines applied with texture paste form crack-like structures that lend the surface a dynamic depth and a certain fragility.

Bloom: Blossoms embody the tension between delicacy and strength, between transience and expression. Their variety of forms, their lines and their rhythm provide a starting point for experimenting with reduction, movement and materiality.
The focus is on reduced line work in the form of line art, the deliberate subversion of hyperrealistic depictions, and the interplay of movement and dynamism. Experimenting with different materials gives rise to varied interpretations of floral motifs.
