Sometimes all you can do is persevere.
There are situations where there is little that can be resolved or influenced. You look for the next step, for a direction, for anything that might change the situation, and sometimes all you can do for the time being is to persevere.
The darkness makes the path unclear, the surroundings threatening and hard to make sense of. You can barely see where to go next. Moving on is one option; standing still is another. In moments like these, it’s enough to conserve your strength, wait it out and hold firm until you have more room for manoeuvre again.
During such a phase, you often scarcely realise yourself just how much you’re actually achieving. Control and quick solutions are hardly possible. Then it’s a matter of enduring the situation, step by step or simply taking it one day at a time. What may look like a standstill can demand a great deal of strength. Simply persevering can be enough in itself and mean more than it feels like at that moment.
Sometimes, simply persevering is enough.
Material / Technique:
Acrylic on canvas in a shadow-joint frame. The landscape is painted with high-quality acrylic paints. The original painting is sealed with a UV-protective varnish from Lascaux and signed on the front and back.
Frame:
The shadow-joint frame is included with purchase. This frame does not contain a glass pane. The painting is screwed into the frame at the back. The distinctive feature of a shadow-joint frame is the visible joint between the stretcher and the outer frame: This draws the viewer’s attention to the subject. The shadow-gap frame, made of solid wood, is finished with a black film. There are three sawtooth hangers on the back. The painting can be hung from the centre or from the two side sawtooth hangers.

Regensburg. It was there that I discovered my love of landscape painting. In particular, during the painting excursions I regularly took part in, I developed a deep connection with nature and a passion for the diversity of colours that we often fail to notice in everyday life. I often lose myself in the many facets of nature and observe it with a discerning eye.
In my works, which are predominantly created using acrylic paint, I aim to highlight and exaggerate the variety of colours that can be discovered in nature upon close observation. In doing so, I alter the colours and consciously transform them to create unique atmospheres of colour and light. Despite these alterations, it is of great importance to me to keep
the forms true to what can be observed and to nature
. Through the manipulation of colours, I often succeed in creating mystical, dark, stormy and dynamic colour schemes. My choice of tranquil subjects, such as solitary trees or distant cloudscapes, harmonises perfectly with a dynamic choice and application of colour. As a result, my landscapes are both serene and dynamic and wild. They are characterised by contrasts between light and dark, between gloom and vibrant colours.
Through my unique colour and light atmospheres, my distortions of reality and my constant artistic development, I set myself apart from other landscape painters. My works offer the viewer a special artistic experience, immersing them in a world full of unique moods and sensations.
