Glasses were exposed directly onto photographic paper in the darkroom to create a photogram. The photograph was then processed as a screen print. The image reveals the subtle reflections of light within the glass. Curved glass is a material that is unique in the way it reflects or transmits light. In the screen print, you can see in the black areas where a particularly large amount of light struck the photographic paper. In the light areas, the glass has deflected the rays of light. In my artistic work, I explore the effects of light on various materials. Further examples, installations and images can be viewed on my website.
