This work was created in 2023 as part of a series of collages, whilst I was rearranging watercolours on lace doilies. In this art series, everyday sketches are broken down into their basic elements. By removing large sections of the original composition, the image is reduced to its essential lines.
The stitched lines emphasise the lines of the watercolour painting and create a harmonious connection between the fabric and the paper. This unique technique not only lends the work an interesting texture but also creates a visual unity that captivates the viewer.
Each artwork speaks to the beauty of the unfinished and captures the essential moments of life. These works invite us to reflect on the fragility and complexity of everyday life

The artwork will be wrapped in paper and shipped in a cardboard box – including a certificate of authenticity and the artist’s signature on the reverse.
