Description

It is enough to take the next step, because everything else will only become clear later. The path in the picture is clearly visible in the foreground. It leads into the landscape and sets a direction. At the same time, its further course is lost in the haze. The shapes in the distance remain soft and indistinct, whilst the next section remains clearly visible. The light lies calmly over the scene, holding everything together without highlighting any individual points. This creates the impression that one can carry on, even if it is not clear where the path leads.

Life is often similar. Decisions have to be made, even though the future cannot be foreseen. Often, only the next step is tangible, whilst everything beyond that remains open. One does not know which possibilities will arise or which will be closed off. It is precisely this that can cause one to stand still, waiting for a certainty that cannot exist. The image captures this experience: it is possible to carry on without having certainty about everything. It is enough to see the next step for movement to begin, and the path ahead only reveals itself over time.

Material / Technique:

Acrylic on canvas in a shadow-joint frame. The landscape is painted with high-quality acrylic paints. The original painting is sealed with a UV-protective varnish by Lascaux and signed on the front and back.

Frame:

The shadow-joint frame is included with purchase. This frame does not contain a glass pane. The painting is screwed into the frame at the back. The distinctive feature of a shadow-joint frame is the visible joint between the stretcher frame and the outer frame: This draws the viewer’s attention to the subject. The shadow-joint frame is made of MDF and covered with high-quality decorative film in a gold tone. There is a plug-in hanger on the back.

External dimensions of the frame: 33 cm x 33 cm

Depth of the frame: 3.5 cm

Shipping:

The artwork is shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity, the frame and the artist’s signature on the front and back.

. It was there that I discovered my love of landscape painting. In particular, during the painting excursions I regularly took part in, I developed a deep connection with nature and a passion for the diversity of colours that we often fail to notice in everyday life. I often lose myself in the many facets of nature and observe it with a discerning eye.

In my works, which are predominantly created using acrylic paint, I aim to highlight and exaggerate the variety of colours that can be discovered in nature upon close observation. In doing so, I alter the colours and consciously transform them to create unique atmospheres of colour and light. Despite these alterations, it is of great importance to me to keep

the forms true to what can be observed and to nature

. Through the manipulation of colours, I often succeed in creating mystical, dark, stormy and dynamic colour schemes. My choice of tranquil subjects, such as solitary trees or distant cloudscapes, harmonises perfectly with a dynamic choice and application of colour. As a result, my landscapes are both serene and dynamic and wild. They are characterised by contrasts between light and dark, between gloom and vibrant colours.

Through my unique colour and light atmospheres, my distortions of reality and my constant artistic development, I set myself apart from other landscape painters. My works offer the viewer a special artistic experience, immersing them in a world full of unique moods and sensations.
