Bensdorp cocoa, Ritter Sport, Brandt rusks and a jar of Nutella are all depicted together in the pictorial space. Familiar everyday products, known to almost everyone, are removed from their functional context and staged as silent protagonists.
The still life thrives on recognition and memory: of breakfast tables, childhood, moments of comfort and small rituals. Between nostalgia and the present, a calm space of tension emerges, in which consumption is not judged but observed. The image does not focus on advertising or the product, but on the feeling associated with them – on closeness, habit and the desire for simplicity.

Alina Fenn
In my artistic work, I explore the question of what really matters in life. Amidst consumerism, external influences and societal images, what stands out for me are human emotions – love, intimacy and vulnerability.
My works are created intuitively. Colour, movement and deliberate breaks reflect inner tensions and reveal what often remains hidden. In this process, raw, expressive elements meet personal themes and create spaces in which viewers can recognise themselves.
For me, art is a place where emotion and expression take precedence over perfection.
