‘Pastel Reverie’ is an abstract work which, through its limited colour palette and soft composition, exudes a meditative tranquillity. Against the beige background, splashes of pastel colour unfold in soft shades of green, grey, white and bright blue. These flowing forms resemble floating fragments of thought that come together to form a poetic whole. In the lower part of the picture, loose strokes of blue and white pastel chalk complement the composition. They appear like spontaneous notations – delicate, playful and, at the same time, directional. The work invites contemplative observation and explores the subtle balance between intuition and structure, lightness and depth.
