“Roh III – Trust” is part of the Roh series, in which minimalist lines and earthy colours focus on the essentials. The portrait depicts a calm, open figure, accompanied by a small bird – a subtle symbol of closeness, trust and connection.
The deliberate blurring and flowing transitions lend the work a raw, immediate impact. Somewhere between a sketch and a finished piece, a moment emerges that does not seek to be perfect, but rather honest.
The interplay between human and animal invites the viewer to discover their own meanings – ranging from protection and freedom to silent communication.

In my artistic work, I explore the question of what really matters in life. Amidst consumerism, external influences and societal images, what stands out for me are human emotions – love, intimacy and vulnerability.
My works are created intuitively. Colour, movement and deliberate breaks reflect inner tensions and reveal what often remains hidden. In this process, raw, expressive elements meet personal themes and create spaces in which viewers can recognise themselves.
For me, art is a place where emotion and expression take precedence over perfection.
